Two of our investigators, including
John Dietz, are retired Federal Criminal Investigators. Both are Certified Fraud
Examiners.
John Dietz is also a Diplomate of the
American College of Forensic Examiners. He is an Associate Instructor at the Collin County
Law Enforcement Academy, specializing in Statement Analysis, Interviewing and
Interrogation.
Our other investigators include a
retired Texas Ranger Captain, a Forensic Computer Investigator, and one of the top covert
video and electronic equipment experts in the country. All of our investigators are highly
competent, experienced and successful.
Recent accomplishments:
- We solved a $2,000,000 fraud in which
3 large corporations were the victims. The investigation covered 4 states and will be
prosecuted by the FBI. We obtained a vital confession, which developed the evidence for
the prosecution.
- We solved a stolen check fraud in
which a privately owned corporation and 2 banks were defrauded. We developed 15 defendants
in 2 states and obtained confessions from 6 of them. The case will be prosecuted by local
law enforcement.

Dennis H. Chevalier holds a PhD in Criminal Profiling. Our areas of expertise cover practical
operative activities as well as teaching as universities, community colleges, business
colleges and our own school--Chevalier & Associates Protective Service Academy.
Our specialty is technical surveillance counter-measures (TSCM) or debugging. We have
worked with police and private firms locally and nationally for computer security testing
including TEMPEST Security, Class-C NT computer breach testing, and general, "who's
tapping our lines work." Our licensing amongst others includes Microsoft Certified
Specialists (in several areas), FCC licenses, and so on.
Mr. Chevalier was the creator and
director of the Mansfield College Security Specialist Program and directed 8 schools in
Texas from September 1986 through December 1991--the first 300-hour program approved by
the Texas Education Agency of its kind licensed by the Texas Board. He has an Armed
bodyguard Instructor--1 of only 2 (when the program started) licensed by the Texas Board
by proxy of experience only. He teaches many courses for security and police being a
combined instructor (TCLEOSE, DPS, TCPS).
Chevalier & Associates has been
used on several high publicity personal protection cases, featured on CBS 48-Hours,
and local TV stations FOX, NBC and ABC.
Mr. Chevalier is a former reserve
Police Lieutenant and SWAT entry team member and is currently a reserve Deputy Constable
in Dallas. He is a retired Lieutenant Colonel of the USAF-Auxiliary Civil Air Patrol as a
mission pilot/aircraft commander and is familiar with area observational techniques and
