Cobra Companies, Inc. President and CEO Mr. Robert Bruno, began his investigations career in 1965 in Oahu, Hawaii while serving a tour of duty with the United States Marines. Mr. Bruno was assigned to the US Army Criminal Investigations Division (CID). During this time he successfully completed a rigorous 8-week investigation training program. Upon completion of his training. Bob returned to his unit and continued undercover investigations all over the Marine operations on the island of Oahu. He continued his CID service until 1974.

Mr. Bruno has been conducting surveillance and other types of investigations since 1965, and in the last 14 years has concentrated on specifically investigation all types of suspect insurance cases, medical malpractice cases, and personal/bodily injury cases Cobra Company's clientele nationwide is primary insurance companies, law firms, third party administrators and self insured organizations.

All investigators must have a minimum of 3,000 hours of verifiable surveillance experience in surveillance vans in all types of weather and are then meticulously trained in the Cobra Company's unique methods. Not only are they required to pass our extremely rigid entrance requirements, they must demonstrate their ability to take quality video. Junior investigators are exposed to extensive training in proper Cobra video techniques before they are given singular assignments.

Cobra Company's investigators come from a wide variety of backgrounds. Mr. Bruno has strived to hire individuals that share his enthusiasm for this type of investigations. Many of our investigators have extensive military and/or detective law enforcement experience. Several Cobra Company investigators have received instruction in the university setting and have completed advanced degrees directly related to the investigations' field. They are then trained in Cobra's techniques.

The techniques employed by the company are unique to the field and Mr. Bruno has written a technical manual pioneering the way for investigators already in business to streamline their own methods. The book "Serious Surveillance for the Private Investigator," has gained wide market acceptance in the investigation community and several more are soon to come on the market. So when you ask "who wrote the book on surveillance?," Cobra Company can really say "they did!"

We are located in Chattanooga, TN and cover the entire state of Georgia from the Northwest mountains to the Southeast coastal area. We also serve the eastern 2/3 of Tennessee from Kentucky southward to Alabama, and we have associates in and around all the major cities.

We have over 35 years experience in a combination of law enforcement and legal/fraud investigations. Our principal clients are employers, self-insureds, insurance companies, or the attorneys representing them. References would be made available upon request.

We conduct investigations into personal injury claims (workers compensation, bodily injury, third party, or life & health disability). These include verifying that an alleged injury actually occurred, interviewing and taking recorded statements from claimant and/or witnesses, and performing video surveillance for documentation of current activities.

We also have considerable national database expertise in locating persons, such as potential witnesses that may have moved.

We do domestic investigations, including child custody and dead-beat locations. We have both male and female investigators available as needed. We also serve civil process. We are fully bonded and insured.
